With the billions of items on the web, even one-thousand blog entries, which is a lot, it is not enough. It is not even enough to make a dent.
However, I will write until I have at least one-thousand entries, and then I will go from there. It is mathematically the only way for keywords to end up in searches, is if there are a lot of entries, with a lot of different key words. It is the only way.
Anyone out there remember 'The Gong Show'? It was a good show. I've seen clips on youtube. I used to watch that show all the time. A young David Letterman was one of the judges once, as was Steve Martin, who doubled as judge and as a contestant playing the banjo. Good stuff. "I want to make something of myself." And he did.
Good stuff.
It is a cheap trick, also the name of a band, to use names and words that people are familiar with to get your blog entries seen by people.
I like 'Penn and Teller' for they show how tricks are done. They've had a good career, too. ( See? Now I have used key words that might get people interested in comedy to see this blog entry. )
I used to write at the end of an entry, "It was a bitch of a day." But if I write, "It was a Mr. Spock kind of day," I'm sure to get more hits, since Mr. Spock is someone a lot of people love.
"I have always loved the music of Michael Jackson."
"Farrah Fawcett was hot, and she was an artist. She used to paint. I saw that in her Playboy video." That was a double. Farrah Fawcett and Playboy are both good key words. 'Artist' is not. That is a 'Prince' thing now, anyhow, haha.
Just for good measure...South Park, Cartman, Stan, Kenny, Kyle, Butters.
