Damn, I'm up early. A lot going on. My brother did a stellar job on my website. Wow. If anything at all, it makes it easier for me to navigate to my own sites.
You know, it sure is a lot easier to wake up in the morning knowing that the Giants are World Series champions. Wait, did that really happen? Wow, it did.
It was a very low-rated series on television. The network people just care about money. Anyway, they can never take the victory away from the Giants.
My friend David Marc Grant got some more press about his art. I'm happy for him. I wish I could get some real press about my art, but I don't think that is ever going to happen. My artwork isn't really up to par. Plus, he went to grad school and learned all the ins and outs of the professional art world, whereas I have been content to be this amateur kind of person. Just how it goes, though, I still owe a chunk of change for my art education.
I'm up early, I might as well get ready to go to the coffee shop, and do some drawing.
I got problems, though. I need a source of income. I did get on the board, though. I have made 70 cents with adsense so far. I was wondering for months what I had to do to earn any amount of money with that thing. It took a while to figure out. I had to make it so I was directing traffic a little.
My original goal with even buying a computer was to set it all up so I could eventually make money with it. That and playing games is what I wanted to do. And oh yeah, make art.
Anyway, now I have a way to get my art and all my activities onto the web so at least people can look at it if they want to. Before, there was not even a way for people to see my art, if they even knew or cared that I was making it at all.
The above picture shows a woman at the S.F. Giants Parade. It is all about the girl. Anyway, it was very crowded at the parade, and I didn't get to see much of the actual parade, but I saw a whole lot of people.
It is getting to be time for coffee and a drawing session.
I've been having trouble making myself make real art and real paintings for the purposes of exhibition. I don't know how I expect to make money at art if I don't make art that I can sell. Anyway, I'll figure it all out sooner or later. Takes time. Lots of things I want to do anyhow.
I've been having trouble with the practicing musicians down near my studio. They practice and practice and never get better. It is hard on my ears, and makes it hard to think. Exhausted, I sometimes just go to bed early having given up to do anything. The moments of peace that I do get are completely awesome, though.
