Naked Lady Newspaper Art

They are painted on newspaper, with acrylic paint.
They are drawn from live models, at least they were.  Many of these paintings date back thirteen years.
Anyway, I guess I have to show these on my adult only blog, since some of them can get racy in some people's opinions.  Even I agree that they aren't really for young people.  I would feel weird if young people saw these paintings.

Anyhow, I sell these at the cafe and bar that I go to.  Mostly I sell them for $20, but sometimes I can get $30 or $40 for one.
As I work on them more, hopefully I'll be able to sell them for more.

I Don't Know

I haven't written a blog in a while.  I usually try not to let too many days go by, but it has been a week or two.
For most people, not writing a blog in a month is no big deal.
Most people don't bother with writing blogs at all.
I suppose I wouldn't even mess with blogs if I was a real writer.  I don't know what I am.
Anyway, I listened to the full unabridged audiobook on youtube of 'A Catcher in The Rye'.  I was surprised to find it on youtube.  I was delighted when it popped up.  I listened to it all night, and re-listened to the last hour this morning.
Today is a nothing day for me, but I am still thinking about that audiobook.
I'm listening to another one, World War Z.  It is pretty good.
     I like audiobooks.
I like to lay there in bed, with the volume on my speakers up full blast, and listen away.
I understand 'A Catcher in The Rye' a lot better as an adult.  One thing is for sure, it is well-written.  What threw me off is it is in the voice of a teen-aged narrator.  That really threw me off.
It is amazing this book even got published back then, what with the use of the 'f' word, which is still controversial in literature.  I don't know why everyone has to get in such a huff just over some bad language.
Then, I watched some banned cartoons on youtube.  They won't show certain cartoons made during WWII because of some racial and image jokes.  They don't offend me.  I don't know who they offend.  I mean, there are still places in the world where they use rickshaws.  I don't know what the big fucking deal is.
That is why they call it comedy.  It ain't always pretty.  I guess everybody wants to protect the kids, but they want to see all that shit, too, and they usually do.
Parents monitor their kids' computer use.  I don't see what the point is, except to control the the kids as much as possible.  It is a recipe for rebellion later on.
I rebelled.  I began to realize that religion was a bunch of bullshit, and that my parents just used it as a baby-sitter, and as a pacifier.  The only thing that got me going to church was I wanted to see the pretty girls in their Sunday dresses.
Anyhow, I got a full night ahead of painting in the bar for me tonight.  Maybe I'll get some sales.  I could certainly use some.  Poverty is no fun, you know.  I'm skating on thin ice as far as the rent goes.
One thing I learned is that you can't write blog entries and play video games at the same time.  They are two separate things.  I always feel guilty when I know I should be writing, and I'm sitting there trying to level up Captain America or a dwarf.
Then it turns out it doesn't matter much if I write at all.  I mean, who reads this shit?  No one that I know of.  Sure I get hits, but I don't know if it means anything.
But one thing is for sure, I have a lot to write about.  Today, it was almost bubbling over.
I still don't know if I should write certain things.  I don't know if it is in my best interest.  Some of it is about other people, some of it is about myself.
All I know is I had a hell of a time watching old cartoons today.  I was laughing.  I love those things.  Don't get me wrong, some of them aren't so great, and aren't really funny at all.  I watched a Popeye cartoon with Betty Boop.  The only thing good about it was the animation, but the sight-gags didn't do it for me.  I liked the hulu dancing Betty just wearing a ..you know...a lauo...a Hawaiin flower wreath over her little tits, but most of the cartoon was a bore fest.  The Tex Avery cartoons never let me down.  I watched 'Bad Luck Blackie' which is classic Tex Avery in action.  It is a great one.  It is so sadistic, it is hilarious.  I don't know why anybody should get their feathers ruffled.  It is just a goddamn cartoon.  But people do anyhow, I don't know why.  Just because they don't like it, they want to stop everyone else from watching it.  That is fucked up.  If they don't like it, they shouldn't watch it, end of story.
Anyway, I don't know if I should take a nap, or just go to work.  I hear that the crappy bass player across the hall is warming up.  She can't play worth shit, and plays her bad playing real loud.  Maybe if she turned it down, she could hear how bad she sucks.  She won't do that, though.  She is in denial.
     Anyhow, what a day.  I didn't do jack-shit today.
